(leave out the flour for a Gluten Free option)
3 or 4 tablespoons of plain flour
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper or any other seasoning
Salt n pepper to taste
Coat whitebait in flour, cayenne, salt n pepper or just flour if preferred
Place in sieve and shake off excess flour to seperate the bait
Make sure the bait is seperated before cooking
Toss bait for no longer than 30 - 45 seconds.
Garnish, as for other dishes.
- Add to a favourite salad.Spice up with cajun seasoning, garlic, herbs.
- Leave the flour out & just crisp up in pan
