Curly Tree Whitebait Company
Curly Tree has sold!!
Curly Tree will be moving to a new home in the sunny Nelson area from the 14th of December 2018
Be sure to keep Curly Tree in your bookmarks as it will be business as usual with the new owners! You will certainly be hearing, seeing, and having the opportunity to continue enjoying the Curly Tree Whitebait experience going into 2019 and beyond.
And of course, if you're driving the rugged and beautiful West Coast highways before the 14th of December make sure you call in to the Curly Tree site at Waita River for your fair dinkum West Coast whitebait pattie experience!
Moana and Tony, Rachel and Glenn and the Curly Tree family would like to extend our deepest heartfelt thanks to the thousands of travellers from near and far who have made out lives a joy for the past 10 years.
It has been a privilege serving you, and bringing you West Coast whitebait at it's authentic and rustic best.
We have every confidence the next evolution of Curly Tree Whitebait will keep you coming back for more as well!
Tony, Moana, and the Curly Tree team
We are based in the heart of West Coast whitebait country 10 Kms north of Haast and 120km south of the Glaciers on SH6 at the Waita river.
Curly Tree's whitebait is sourced from a select few of the cleanest whitebait producing rivers on the South Westland coast. These rivers have had little human impact, and still produce yields on par with when Tony's great-grandparents were fishing them.
Our focus is simple - to provide you the best West Coast white gold - Curly Tree Whitebait is New Zealand Food Safety Authority approved and is proud to cater to the requirements of supermarkets, major distributors, restaurants, hotels and individuals alike.
If you get the chance to enjoy the riches of the West Coast just follow the 'Curly Tree' & 'Whitebait Patties' signs (yes we do freshly cooked whitebait patties too) and have a slice of real kiwiana right on the banks of where it's caught.
Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.
